Oh wow, the top one (I'm assuming that is 'fairytale') is gorgeous! I wish I knew how you got your yarn so thin and even. About how many yarns are these? Did you dye the fiber and then spin it or spin it and then dye the yarn? Either day it looks wonderful as usual.
heh, naaaah, these are my cheating ones.... They are millspun, I don't do even. I'd rather buy it commercially and concentrate on spinning wild and wacky. :D
They are both roughly 3.5oz and 460 yards. You would get that result by first spinning and then dyeing, but personally I prefer dyeing first and then spinning, for a nice 2-tone effect. :)
nice to have you back posting again! I do prefer dyeing first and then spinning too, so I can decide how to blend colours...and I still can barely cope handpainting yarns...colorsseem to mix when and where I don't want them to!!!
